Tim worked last night and as he was driving home on the reservation he about hit this cow!! After he woke up we decided to take a drive on the Needles Highway and see what kind of early evening pictures we could get. This area is really beautiful!! Going through our first tunnel of the evening. Some of them were really tight for the dually truck!! Such a beautiful area!! These pictures really don't portray how incredibly pretty it is here. We finally got to the area for the reason behind the name of Needles Highway. A rock in the area actually looks like the eye of a needle. Lots of scenic picture taking opportunities up here!! Garrett and I were having a lot of fun just climbing up the rocks. They had really good traction to where it never felt like we were going to slip. This tunnel is going to be really tight.....smallest tunnel of them all!! Tim walking around and checking things out. Our turn to go through, gulp....it's going to be tight.... Phew, we made it with no issues to the other side. But what a view!! Next stop was Cathedral Spires. We only walked a little ways as it was starting to get dark and hiking a trail at dusk just isn't a good idea!! Going through Iron Creek Tunnel. Just a hole in the wall.....literally!! But if you ask us, its another cool thing to explore!! Looking at it from a different angle. These deer don't look very healthy.... Our sunset view. Gosh God sure made some beautiful places!! What a great day. We sure are enjoying having Linda here with us!!
