Got up this morning and was having breakfast. Garrett is usually on the floor playing with his toys. However, today he decided that his toys were not what he wanted and went into Bailey's tub of toys instead. It was so funny to watch him throw all of her stuffed toys out, while she sat there and just watched him. At one point Bailey went and took one of her animals out of his hand and he was not happy about it. The RV Park we stayed at was a very nice campground and we definitely would stay here again. I would definitely come back to this area. It is so beautiful here!! During our drive we ran into some construction and had stop and go traffic for a bit of our drive. That was ok, since it allowed me to take better pictures :) Wow, what an amazingly beautiful area. This is how I expect much of Oregon to look when we get up there. Will have to see if my thinking is correct. Does anyone know if this is snow on the top of the mountain? Looks like it but Tim and I are unsure since this is the Summer season. Yikes!! Chains on tires, and they say this area will have snow in October. Hopefully it won't be too bad end of October when we head back down. Klamath Falls exit. So exciting we are getting closer!! We are now on a 2 lane highway for the rest of the way into Klamath Falls. You can also see the terrain starting to change from the mountains into more hills. Open Range?? What?? I thought we left Arizona behind!! Still a beautiful drive even if cows do have the right of way, LOL :) Entering Klamath National Forest. As we are driving along we see smoke billowing up from one of the mountaintops near where we are driving. Crazy since neither of us have ever been in something like this. You could actually at one point see the flames on the mountain. It was so weird to see a whole mountain on fire like that. We continued on and are heading it looks like down into the valley. Looks like we may see some deer or elk as well along our drive. We kept seeing signs for both of these animals along the way. Looks like we may be heading into some farmland now. We also headed into the last town in California before we cross over into Oregon. Welcome to Oregon :) Klamath Falls is a lot of farmland. It is very pretty. They have Klamath River which they send logs down to the log manufacturing facility. It is a smaller town. We are glad to be out of the larger cities for a little while and back to our smaller cities. Garrett and Bailey waiting patiently to get out of the vehicle. The hospital Tim will be working at while here in Klamath Falls. Sunset over Klamath Lake. So pretty. We saw our first deer along the lake, but the pictures I took didn't come out. We weren't able to get into our RV spot today so we will be pulling into it tomorrow. The RV park is so nice!! We are on a pond with grass. Garrett and Bailey are going to love playing on the grass.
