We left Blythe, CA at around 10 AM and arrived in Beaumont about 1 PM. The drive to Beaumont was very scenic and pretty. Lots of mountains along the way. We passed by Joshua Tree National Park. If we had more time we were considering stopping but decided to pass it by this time. This picture is for our son Ryan. He lived in Twentynine Palms with his Mother and Step-Father. Such a pretty drive. The mountains coming through California are beautiful!! Coming in to Palm Springs. Bob Hope even has his own road here.... Palm Springs is different than I expected. Very scenic area. More mountains that what I had anticipated. I have never seen an area that had as many windmills as this area. There were probably thousands of them. I know some people don't like them, but I find them pretty in there own way. We finally made it into Beaumont, CA at around 1 PM. We ended up eating at the Farm House Restaurant. We got to the Country Hills RV Park about 2:30 to set up the RV for 2 nights. It was a very nice and scenic RV Park. We left about 4 PM to head over to my Aunt Grace and Uncle Ron's house. It was so good to see them, it had been about 7 years since the last time. It was nice for Garrett to have some room to play in at their house. We will be spending the full day with them tomorrow.
