Garrett sure enjoyed eating his oreo cookie. He was licking the cookie and then looking at me with a huge grin on his face. It's funny to see him try all of the different foods and see the ones that he really enjoys. But then again, who doesn't like an oreo cookie!!
On our island in our kitchen you can see a mini horse shoe opening. Well underneath that opening it is open to underneath our sink. Garrett has been sticking all of his toys in that opening. I've been finding blocks, animals, all kinds of things. Well today I was busy making my lunch thinking he was playing on that side of the island. I came around the side and looked and here Garrett had gotten the ice cube trays from underneath the sink and pulled them through and was playing with them. When I looked at him he gave me a huge grin because he knew what he was doing, LOL. How can I be mad at such a sweet face :)
Here he is trying to put the trays back under the sink. On a positive note at least when he gets things out he puts them back, ha ha ha.
That wasn't working like he wanted it to. So he brought me over a book to read.
I'm so glad that right now he loves to read and look at the pictures in the books. I can't say enough about these highlight books. They are perfect for his age group and it is something I highly recommend for anyone with a new baby or toddler.
