I feel a little bad. Here we are having 60 degree days while most of our family and friends are covered in snow with -degrees. Even those in Florida are colder than we are. Guess we picked a good spot to spend Winter, LOL. We normally spend our mornings playing indoors or going to the YMCA. This morning we spent the day inside. Garrett has a couple of PBS Kids programs that I let him watch. Thomas The Train, Sid the Science Kid, Sesame Street, and a couple of others. So he was playing with my phone switching between all of the different shows he wanted to listen to.
For the afternoon we spent the day outside playing in the sun. He takes his train all over the front of the park. He has been walking away from his train a lot more. Not wanting to use it as much. While we were walking around Tim was busy taking down the makeshift garage that blew down in the last storm we had.
We headed over to play in the grass for a bit while Tim continued to take everything down. It was so funny. Garrett did not like the feel of the grass and would do everything he could to not have to touch it with his hands. In his defense it was a bit prickly, with the pine needles and what not. He eventually got himself sat in his bike carrier and that is pretty much where he stayed. He would sit and kick his legs and then pick up the leaves, pine needles and other things that were close to him. Just as long as his hands weren't touching the grass he was good. Goofy Kid!!
