We arrived at the house, and it is amazing!! Our view of the ocean is wonderful. So relaxing :) I've taken a couple pictures of what the interior of the house looks like. For someone that has been in a RV for 12 months this is like heaven!! Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Bathtub, ah how I have missed you, LOL :) Not to mention our view from our front window of the Pacific Ocean. So majestic and powerful. It is so neat just to watch the waves beat into the rocks. I've been looking for whales but haven't seen any yet...... After lunch we headed out to Stout Grove in the Redwood State Park. The reviews said this is a must see while we are in the area. It definitely didn't disappoint! To get to the area we had to pass over the Smith River. The water is so blue for a River. It was flowing pretty fast!! Entering the Redwood Park. The drive into the area was beautiful. We love to take the back roads and this definitely did not disappoint. The trees are magnificent. So large and powerful. They are just beautiful. To give you an idea of how massive these trees are. We parked our truck and took a picture. But even that doesn't do it justice!! Getting ready to go on our hike. We got to the trail head and it said no dogs. So Bailey had to go back to the truck :( Garrett loves riding in the backpack. He was having fun looking around. The area was so pretty. I told Tim it was like being in another world. Everything was so lush and green and the trees were huge!! These trees are so massive!! You definitely felt God's presence while being on the trail. I'm officially a tree hugger, LOL!! Doesn't it look like the slot in the tree is something you would put a large quarter in? Gives perspective to how huge these trees actually are...... Back on the trail. This is one of the smaller trees. My husband is 5ft 9" and it still was taller than him after falling over. The hole it left behind. We probably wouldn't have went on the trail if it had been windy at all. Thankfully it was not, but you could tell the remnants left behind from just 2 days earlier when they had 50+ mile per hour winds. Lots of trees and limbs that had fallen. A tree that had fallen that we walked under. Garrett thought it was great fun!! The root system of these trees is just amazing. Stopping to let Garrett touch and feel things along the way. He was very gentle with everything. Continuing on our hike. Garrett loves to feel Tim's hair. So as soon as the hat came off, Tim got a hair massage the rest of the time. Hiking on.... Information about the trail. Just Chillin...... Walking and exploring with Mommy :) Our drive back. We went out for dinner and across the street they had hundreds of crabpots. So cool!! We are having a lot of fun here together. The area is so beautiful and being by the ocean is very relaxing. Garrett is having a ball walking all over in the house and really liking the open room. Tomorrow another fun day of Oceanworld and Trees of Mystery.
