This evening we headed out to watch the Rodeo. They have it every Saturday. You can go and look at the bulls when you first arrive. Garrett was a little apprehensive and wanted Tim to pick him up to look at them. They were a bit intimidating!! Some of them were HUGE!! No way would you get me on one of those.... They always bring all the riders out in the center of the arena and pray for them and their safety before they start. I thought this was wonderful and was nice to see all of them out there taking a knee!! Taking selfies with Dad and Mom before the excitement starts!! The first couple of riders was fun to watch for Garrett..... After that he was done and the kid in front of us wanted to play with him. So they played with the trucks and tractors together. He can make friends anywhere we go, which makes traveling a lot easier!! During half-time everyone can go out on the field and dance/run/play. Garrett had a ball!! Tim took him out and it seemed like they had a lot of fun out there together. They started back up again and the 2nd to last rider had a horrible accident. He came off the bull, landed on the ground and the bull stepped on him. You could hear him screaming on the ground...one of the worst sounds to ever hear. They had several people with him and he had several seizures during that time. He had to wait about 10 minutes for an ambulance to show up. I have no idea why they don't have an ambulance on site, I think they should but they don't. My heart really goes out to that kid. All in all it was a fun family evening out and I would definitely do it again.
