Garrett had his next soccer game this morning. He's doing ok. He tends to think it's football and wants to tackle the other kids or he gets easily distracted and watches his shadow, LOL. He is having fun though and isn't that what it is really about at this age?
After soccer we headed home and Garrett wanted to ride his bike and play outside for awhile. In one of the videos you will hear me tell Garrett to slow it down going around the corner where the mailbox is. You will see why further down :(

That didn't last long, time for some basketball!!
He finally got tired of that and rode his bike again. He had been riding for about 5 minutes and he took that corner a little too fast......down he went face first on the pavement. Thank goodness for his bicycle helmet!! He hit that pavement so hard that it cracked up the whole front side of his helmet. I can't imagine what he would have looked like had he not had a helmet on. I'm assuming I would have been making a trip to the ER because he hit it so hard. He was scared, but no injuries!! So thankful for the bicycle helmet!! Time for a new helmet :)
