We had some errands to run in the morning and wanted to get Bailey some boots to put on her paws. The concrete here gets really hot and there really isn't anything else for her to walk on so we are searching for some good shoes for her. If anyone has any suggestions of a good brand please let us know. We've also been searching for a gluten free cereal since Garrett seems to have an allergic reaction to wheat. I think I found a good one that looks like cheerios so hopefully he will like them.
I cooked us breakfast this morning. Eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast I must say I haven't lost my knack for cooking. I am still getting used to cooking on gas my eggs came out a little harder than I wanted them but I'm learning. For lunch we ate at Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant. It is mostly a salad buffet and it was pretty good. They do have breads and some other things. Garrett was able to have some Macaroni and Cheese. I will have to keep a close eye on him tomorrow to see if he breaks out or not. Pretty good restaurant but it looks like it may be a chain here in Arizona.
We got home changed into our bathing suits and headed up to the pool. It is about 95 degrees here in Tucson today so a good day for us to go swimming with Garrett. This is Garrett's first time swimming. I'm so excited for him. Both Tim and I love to swim and Tim was actually on his swim team in high school. So he is a very strong swimmer. I'm hoping Garrett takes after his father since I still have to plug my nose when going underwater.

Garrett did great!! Not even one tear and seemed to enjoy Tim dunking him. He even came up once and grinned. I hope he continues to love the water. We both love to snorkel and I've always been jealous that Tim can dive down to see all of the cool sea animals. Hopefully Garrett will be as strong or even a stronger swimmer than Tim is and be able to do that with his dad.

We got Garrett out of the pool and it was a little chilly with the wind. Even though it was 90 degrees today it doesn't feel that warm because of the low humidity. He loves to people watch and was paying close attention to the 3 people in the corner and listening to their conversation. He just loves people!! The outfit that he is wearing is a 50 proof SPF. Because he seemed to have an allergic reaction to most of the sunscreens we decided to purchase this for him so we only had to put sunscreen in limited places.
We headed back to the RV after playing in the pool for about an hour.

First time we used our awning. Made for some nice shade and also helped to keep that side of the trailer cool since we are running our air conditioner.
Garrett playing with his little house. It was so funny Bailey came on the other side and looked through the little windows at him. I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of it, darn. We gave him some cheerios and put them on the little green stand and Bailey came over and took them right out of his hand. Most babies would have probably cried, but he just kind of looked at her as if OK I will share with you. They are definitely doing great together.
Tim made the dinner tonight to give me a break. What a great Husband!! He made Shrimp Kabobs and they were soooo good!!! We ate outside on the picnic table, it was a really enjoyable evening together.
After dinner we put Bailey's new boots on and took her for a little walk. Well the boots didn't work that well so they will be going back and I will continue my search for better boots. The sunset was so beautiful, these pictures really don't do it justice!! All in all a really great day!!
