Trying to get these two out of bed..... First place we headed to was Pine Ridge, SD to check out the hospital where Tim and Teresa would be working in the ER. As soon as we crossed over into South Dakota not only were we in a new state but now we were on an Indian Reservation. The hospital looks really nice where they will be working. We left Pine Ridge and decided to do some more exploring. We stopped by a restaurant called Benny's. They had a lot of neat paintings on the walls. Look at this ceiling!! We then headed out to go exploring. We were going to be driving a big square around our area. First thing after we left we saw some pronghorn antelope. How cool is that!! The landscape here is so beautiful!! Lots of flooding going on though :( These windmills are used to help pull water up for the cows. How cool!! A historical marker along the way!! More pretty landscape!! Found this unique store along the way and decided to stop and take a look. Of course we had to take some pictures on the outside first!! Some pictures of the inside of the store. Watching the trains go by!! I would love to know what Garrett was thinking of when I took this photo of him. He's such a special boy and I love him so much!! More watching of the trains!! Mom, look a big boot!! Patiently waiting..... We think these are beaver dams.....but not 100% sure!! Next stop was Carhenge. What is Carhenge you ask, it is a replica of England's Stonehenge. But instead of being built with large standing stones, Carhenge is done with vintage American automobiles all covered with gray spray paint. It was actually pretty cool!! Stopping by the rest area on the way home :) Such a fun day exploring!!
