My first day with Garrett was great. I love being a stay at home mom and watching my little boy play and grow. He is just so smart. We went for 2 walks around the RV park with Bailey our Giant Schnauzer, played outside on the RV pad and the blanket that Grandma Sutton made him. All of this fresh air makes him tired so when its nap time he doesn't even fight me to go down. I just put him in his crib and off to sleep he goes. So far it's been great. Plus only having 300 sq feet has it's advantages, not much to keep clean!! One of the downsides of being in the country in the desert is that their are cactus's everywhere. Parts that have blown off are in the middle of the road and bushes on the sides. Well, our dog Bailey isn't used to not being able to sniff every thing in her path but she is learning very quickly. Today on our walk she got one of them stuck on her paw. I think I got it out, but will have Tim check as well when he gets home since she is limping on it. I'm having Tim bring home the ingredients I need for our Potluck Dinner we are having here tomorrow. I am taking the Ramen Chicken Noodle Salad. We both love it, plus it's something different that I am sure others haven't had before. I am making Fajitas for dinner tonight, another favorite for us :) I took some additional pictures of the RV park today that we hope you will enjoy, the only pictures missing now is of the pool area and they were working on getting that up and running so I skipped taking those today.
Today was Tim's first day at Northwest Medical Center. He said he likes it so far and has met several others that are traveling as well. This hospital still has some paper charting. They are converting over in June though so the possibility of an extension here is high. Normally they don't talk about extending until at least 1/2 way in if not longer. So we will have to wait and see. This week for him is Orientation week so his hours are not what they usually are. Normally he works 3, 12 hour shifts each week but this week he is on 5 days 8 hours. So we won't be doing a lot of exploring during the week. My first day with Garrett was great. I love being a stay at home mom and watching my little boy play and grow. He is just so smart.
