The cabin we are renting has a wood burning stove that we can use to heat the house with. We've decided to go this route for our main heating and have requested 4 cords of wood be delivered to us. We received two cords of wood earlier this week and will be receiving the rest when we get back from visiting family in upstate New York. Today Garrett and I will be transferring the wood from the front of the house to the back. Tim has made a wood holder out of pallets for us to store the wood on. My husband is so handy!! My little guy was a huge help for me today! He had his own wheelbarrow that he pushed and helped me move the wood with. Between the two of us we got both cords of wood moved to the back and stacked appropriately. Taking a break for lunch. Since it was such a nice day we decided to eat out on the picnic table. I took Garrett in around 3 pm for his afternoon nap and headed back outside to finish up. Finally got done around 4:30. Phew, that was some hard work. So glad that I was able to get it done, and even though my husband wanted to help he's worked the last 5 days in a row and is working again tonight. 2 cords done, 2 more to go!! Our wood burning stove. Can't wait to get this baby fired up!!
