Garrett and I will be flying back for him to finish out his preschool year before we head back out to Gallup on May 19. Going to be a busy couple of months for us, but we are looking forward to the change :)
This week after I've dropped Garrett off at daycare I've been coming back to the house to get more things completed. So far I've gotten most of the rooms on the interior of the house done and the storage totes taken over to the storage facility. I've also sanded down the dining room and gotten the side wall ready to paint. So other than paint and molding getting done the Dining Room is now complete. Another room done....Yay!! I'm really proud of Garrett. He has been working really hard in school. At the beginning of the school year they were learning to trace their name. This is his first time doing it. They work on it every week in school and we also work on it here at home. This is what he brought home this week.....what a difference!! One of the TV shows that I watch is 911. Garrett was watching with me this week and put on his firemen uniform to be a firefighter like the guys on the TV show :) The next day Garrett wanted to show everyone how well he is counting from 1-10. He's been working really hard at it. The number 7 is still a little rough but for a kid that only had maybe 10 words at the beginning of the school year I think that he is doing great!! Today I was busy in our family room moving stuff out so I can get in there and sand down the wall to get that ready to repaint as well. I let Garrett play in our backyard while I was working because I could keep a good eye on him. He played with our neighbor dogs for awhile and then took his trucks out to play with the leaves. He got in a good 2 hours playing outside so I'm sure he will sleep good tonight with all that wonderful fresh air he got :) Since he was covered in leaves I stripped him down to his underwear and socks for his nap. After he got up he came out in the living room and was playing with our spare motorcycle helmet. I don't know what it is about helmets, but man he sure loves to play with them!! Going to be an extremely busy weekend for us. Kayley has her Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday. Then when we get home Tim will be moving the RV out from the side of the house so I can get in and start cleaning and packing it up. While I am doing that he will be inside taking his online course for his BLS renewal that he will be going to on Sunday. Hopefully that won't take too long and he can get some additional items done on the house because Sunday he will be heading up to Columbus to his BLS class and won't be home till the after noon. Starting to feel the crunch now because if he gets the position in Gallup, NM that we are hoping he gets we will be pulling out of our house on April 22 to take Tim. So that means we only have 5 more weeks to get everything done and our house on the market.....Yikes!!
